This Pawnee brave has run out of arrows but, true to his cause, he continues forward
with his shield and gun club in hand. The club was called a gun club because it was
shaped like a gun.  Also from a distance enemies may think that he carried a large gun
with, so they may leave him alone.  The Pawnee were well known to be fearless
fighters. Smallpox killed most of them and only a few survived.
