This brave Pawnee has run out of arrows but, true to his cause, he continues forward with his shield and
gun club in hand. The gun club receives its name from its likeness to a gun.  Also, from a distance
enemies mistook the club that he carried a large gun, so often they left him alone.  The Pawnee were well
known to be fearless fighters. Smallpox killed most of them and only a handful survived.
