The young Negro cowboy is racing his horse in a rainstorm to outrun and turnaround a cattle stampede. This piece is done in a very early American style which is fitting for the subject. | Bronze Edition of 28 12” tall x 23” wide x 11” deep $2,200* This 1830’s Mandan buffalo dancer lived on the upper Missouri River. When buffalo could not be readily found, the chiefs and spirit leaders would declare the buffalo dance to begin. The dancers wore buffalo heads and head dresses over their heads and danced with their favorite weapon. The dance never failed, but the dance would last day and night incessantly until the buffalo came. |

| "Eclipse" Bronze Edition of 18 16” tall x 20” wide x 18” deep $1,950* It was a belief of the ancient cliff dwellers that during the eclipse of the sun that a mystical ‘sun people’ would come down from the heavens and watch over the cliff dwellings. The ‘sun people’ would protect the food, animals and people during an eclipse of the sun. Sculpted under the feet of the ‘Eclipse’ are cliff dwellings.
